Police say Rengil was driving drunk swerving on the road when he struck two girls as they were walking to their bus stop. The girls were identified as JFK students, ages 14 and 15.
According to police and numerous witnesses, Rengil fled the scene. He was later found by police “passed out” in his car at a nearby Mobil gas station.
