
Guam – Pride Month starts tomorrow and as part of this year’s events, a panel discussion will be hosted by the Guam Museum.
The moderated discussion is set to feature prominent LGBTQ-plus members and champions of the community, including Lieutenant. Governor Josh Tenorio, Public Auditor BJ Cruz, and the president of Simon Sanchez High School’s LGBTQ club Isaiah Babauta.
The event is set for next Thursday, 6 p.m. at the Guam Museum’s indoor theater.
One of the organizers of Pride Month, Lasia Casil, said other events scheduled for this year include a Pride March, Charity Run, and the introduction of an LGBTQ -plus scholarship at the University of Guam.
The event is free and open to the public.
