Jury deliberations continue in murder case


After 10 days of trial and testimonies from over a dozen witnesses, deliberations in the murder trial against Allan Agababa continues.
Guam – Today marked day one of jury deliberations. A jury of 12 members, are tasked with connecting the dots and weighing the evidence to determine whether or not Agababa murdered his mother Shelly Bernstein four years ago.

While no murder weapon was identified or found, Chief Medical Examiner Doctor Aurelio Espinola ruled her death as a homicide.

If found guilty Agababa could spend the rest of his life in prison, he has been in confinement since he was charged with his mother’s murder with bail set at 1 million dollars.

This is the second time the fate of Agababa lies in the hands of a jury, the first trial ended in a hung jury.
