During her daily online news conference on Friday, Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero commended another business as a COVID Hero for feeding the more vulnerable members of our community during this pandemic.
Established by local restaurant Kadu House Guam, the Kadu Cares Program has been preparing nutritious comfort food for those in need.
On Friday, the Governor recognized them for their generosity.
“Kadu Restaurant has partnered with Catholic Social Services, Manelu, and Grab n Grub to feed the chronically homeless, manamko living alone, and family and kids who need extra help. Thank you Kadu Cares for reminding us that though we are physically distant, we are not alone,” the governor said.
According to their website, just $10 donated to the program can feed 6 to 8 people. For more information about Kadu Cares, please visit KaduGuam.com.
