Guam – Guam police have arrested 23 year old Kendall Norris McKinney for an August Home Invasion in Dededo.
GPD Spokeswoman Sgt. Liz Flickinger says the arrests stems from an August 21st incident on Gracia Lane in Dededo where an elderly couple was held at gunpoint inside their home. The wife’s purse and her husband’s wallet were stolen along with the keys to the couple’s vehicles.
The couple’s home had already been burglarized twice before the home invasion, says Sgt. Flickinger.
A week after the home invasion, the couple’s bronze colored Trailblazer SUV was stolen from their home. Police later discovered that the vehicle was used in the robbery of the Winstar gameroom in Tamuning. Then on September 9th, the couple’s other vehicle, a white Mazda 7, was stolen from Benevente Middle School where one of the victims is employed.
Both vehicles were later recovered in the pipeline area of Dededo. They had been stripped.
GPD Spokeswoman Sgt. Liz Flickinger says an investigation led to the issuance of an arrest warrant for McKinney who was arrested, booked and confined Tuesday afternoon on 2 counts of Burglary, 1 count of Robbery, 1 count of Theft of Property and 2 counts of Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
