Kevin Crisostomo Arrested on 2 Counts of Assaulting a Police Officer

Guam – Guam police have arrested 24 year old Kevin Crisostomo of Barrigada on a variety of charges including assaulting 2 police officers and terrorizing a woman with a knife.

The incident occurred this morning, [Tuesday] about 9:36am on Route 8 in Barrigada.

GPD Spokesman Officer A.J. Balajadia reports that officers met with a man and a woman who had been “arguing since yesterday.”

The man was armed with a knife, says Balajadia, and initial refused to comply with the officers instructions to put the weapon down.

When more officers arrived on the scene, Crisostomo “released the knife and was taken into custody.”

However he “resisted and assaulted two of the officers,” reports Balajadia. 

Crisostomo was booked and confined on the following charges:

*Family Violence
*Child Abuse
* Aggravated Assault
* Use of a Deadly Weapon in the Commission of a Felony
* Terrorizing
* 2 Counts Assault on a Police Officer
* Resisting Arrest
* Disorderly Conduct

GUAM POLICE DEPARTMENT NEWS

Barrigada, 9:36am, Tuesday, February 19, 2013, officers responded to a reported disturbance on Rt.8 Barrigada. Officers met with a female and male individual who had been auguring since yesterday.  The male who was armed with a knife refused to comply with the officers instructions to release the knife.  After more officers arrived and continued with more dialog the male individual released the knife and was taken into custody.  He resisted and assaulted two of the officers.
