Guam – The Korean Association of Guam gathered in front of the Tamuning Community Center Wednesday afternoon for a  peaceful demonstration against the recent North Korean Attack.

The protest was called to denounce the most recent display of North Korean aggression against South Korea.

Korean Association of Guam legal counsel and spokesperson Mun Su Park says that Guam’s strategic importance could make it a target for North Korea. “Here to condemn the most recent North Korean attack this recent one was very serious because it was the first direct attack on South Korean soil since the 1953 armistice agreement despite the numerous provocations by North Korea in the past.”

Although they are concerned about this most recent attack Park says that it is merely a form of political

gesturing done to ensure that Kim Il Jong’s son successfully takes his place as the North Korean dictator.
