Korean Tourists Mobbed, Suspects Sought


The suspects are both male and possibly local, according to police.

Guam – Guam Police are asking for the public’s help in locating two suspects behind a strong-arm robbery at the Cella Bay Overlook yesterday.

4:27pm, Tuesday, June 16, 2015, Officers responded to a reported Strong Arm Robbery at the Cella Bay Overlook located along the Agat Umatac Road.

During interview with the victim, police learned that the victims were visiting the Cella Bay Overlook. While at the overlook area the couple was robbed by two male suspects described as:

Suspect#1: Male, Possibly local, short curly hair, dark complexion, medium to heavy set, clad in a black long sleeve shirt black pants, black shoes and a black bandanna covering his lower portion of face.

Suspect#2: Male, Possibly local, short hair, medium to heavy set, clad in a black short sleeve shirt, black pants, unknown footwear armed with a wooden stick.

The victim was struck by the wooden stick and one of the two suspects pulled the bag off his back and both suspects fled on foot into the jungle area.
