Las Vegas Police Make 3 Arrests in Murder of Guam Native Nathan Paet

Guam – Las Vegas Police report that they have arrested 3 people in connection with last week’s murder of Guam native Nathan Paet.

The 28 year old Air Force Staff  Sargent was shot and killed outside his home in southwest Las Vegas last Wednesday.

Paet grew up in Yona. He joined the Air Force in 2002. He had been stationed at Nellis Air Force Base outside Las Vegas since November 2007. He was an F-15 supply section technician assigned to the 757th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Nellis.

A release from the Las Vegas Police Department states that:

On December 7 , 2010, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Homicide Section arrested three local residents for the murder of Ssgt. Paet.

1. Michael Rudolph Rodriguez, 31 years of age :

• Burglary with a Deadly Weapon
• Conspiracy to Commit Murder
• Conspiracy to Commit Burglary
• Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm

2.Corry A Hawkins, 33 years of age:

3.  Jessica Austin, 23 years of age, was arrested for:

All three suspects are being held at the Clark County Detention Center without bail.
