Today is the last day for students interested in attending the Guam Visitors Bureau #InstaGuam Travel Talks: Digital Global Summit scheduled for this Wednesday.
Under GVB’s #InstaGuam Travel Talks Student Call Out Competition, 12 lucky student winners will be selected to attend the #InstaGuam Travel Talks: Digital Global Summit on Wednesday Aug. 14, at the Dusit Thani Guam Resort.
To qualify, student candidates must be 18 years or older and enrolled in UOG or GCC in the upcoming 2019 fall semester with focus areas in either business, tourism, hospitality, marketing, or communications.
Qualified student candidates can visit www.guamtraveltalks.com/student to enter. The call-out deadline is 11:59 p.m. Monday Aug. 12, 2019. Final selection and notifications will be made on Tuesday Aug. 13.
Pilar Laguaña, President and CEO of GVB, said many global experts are coming to share their knowledge and expertise in travel technology and GVB is excited to include the island’s youths in this event.
The #instaGuam Travel Talks: Digital Global Summit — the region’s first premier-travel technology conference — will bring together tourism industries, disruptive technology companies, and global social media influencers in a one-day conference to converse about the digital trends impacting the visitor experience economy.
The summit will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 14, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Dusit Thani Guam Resort.
