Family and friends gathered on Friday to say their final farewell to Keith Castro, the 33-year old victim in last month’s Yigo shooting.

It was on July 28 that Castro was shot in what appears to have been cold blood. And while his perpetrators were caught days after the murder, Castro’s family had to wait to lay him to rest to allow for an autopsy to be conducted.

Friday morning, family and friends gathered at the Our Lady of Peace and Safe Journey Catholic Church in Chalan Pago to pay their last respects and to remember his life.

According to his friend, everything Keith did was for his family, adding that he was not a trouble-maker and was just a good guy who was interested in family past-times like cockfighting.

Those who knew Castro also took to social media to express their heartfelt condolences to the family.

The two men implicated in his shooting are currently being held behind bars. Thomas Taitano is being held for aggravated assault on $100,000 cash bail while the gunman Joshua Palacios is held on murder charges on $500,000 cash bail.
