Lathrop Ca. Mayor “CHAKA” Santos to Visit Guam Schools on His Return to His Ancestral Home


Guam – Joseph “CHAKA” Santos is travelling to Guam, his ancestral home, from  August 29-September 12.

One of the primary purposes for his trip is to visit the schools and offer encouragement to stay in school and graduate.  “CHAKA” has many family members and friends on Guam.  He wants to share the benefits of hard work and having a sense of conviction to complete what is started.  Mayor Santos will share his experiences as a businessperson and a community leader.

This trip will inform residents of Guam about the city of Lathrop.  “I hope to encourage visits to our area and increase business alliances to support our goals for economic expansion” he says.
