New Baseball League Starts Tonight

Guam- Latte Amateur Baseball is kicking off its inaugural adult baseball season September 6th at Paseo Stadium! The Latte Amateur Baseball league will run from September through December and is made up of 18 teams from villages all over Guam. The league consists of two divisions- Proa Division and Ifit Division. Each team will play a 10 game regular season followed by an All-Star game including a home run derby in late October. All teams will then play a single elimination playoff to crown a champion.

As a nonprofit organization, proceeds from LAB will benefit the development of baseball on Guam including the maintenance and beautification of Paseo Stadium and the development of youth baseball and softball programs. Latte Amateur Baseball goal is to provide a environment that fosters baseball development on island and is also extremely fan friendly with game day promotions and fun fan activities.

The Latte Amateur Baseball kicks off their inaugural season this Saturday at Paseo Stadium with the Lucky Supply Pre-Season Jamboree. Teams will get an hour practice time in venerable Paseo Stadium and spend the day barbequing and working on community service activities throughout the stadium. The seasons first official game is Tuesday, September 6th at 7pm when Agana Heights King Car Chiefs take on the Piti Pirates. All games will be played at Paseo Stadium, Monday through Friday at 7pm, and 3 games Saturday and Sunday at 12pm, 3pm and 7pm.
