Guam – The Latte Treatment Center has been awarded 3 year accreditation by the Joint Commission.
A release from the Latte Treatment Center states that the Center has earned the Joint Commission’s “Gold Seal of Approval” by demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission’s national standards for health care quality and safety.
The Joint Commission’s on-site survey of Latte Treatment Center occurred in July.
The release quotes the Joint Commission’s Executive Director for Behavioral Health Care as saying that “In becoming accredited, Latte Treatment Center was evaluated against a set of national standards by a Joint Commission surveyor experienced in the delivery of behavioral health care services. Achieving accreditation demonstrates Latte Treatment Center’s commitment to provide high and safe quality care.”
The release also states:
Latte extends its appreciation to its collaborative partners at DMHSA, DOE, DPHSS, DYA, DISID, SCOG and the Guam System of Care Council, and in particular, the Governor’s Office, for their continued support. This achievement could not have been done without the total team effort.
This accreditation belongs to the people of Guam. Latte continues to look forward to serving, supporting and bringing relief to persons who are challenged with mental and cognitive disabilities
