Guam – Guam lawmakers Tuesday night passed another resolution, critical of the Final Environmental Impact Statement on the Guam military buildup.
Resolution 444 essentially tells President Barrack Obama and the U.S. Congress the sentiments of the People of Guam relative to the Final Environmental Impact Statement or FEIS for the buildup.
The resolution lists some of the legislature’s findings concerning what they call poorly addressed and unresolved issues.
The resolution also provides a list of essential elements that the people of Guam believe must be favorably resolved in order to continue the buildup process. And it restates Guam’s agenda of priority concerns relative to federal-territorial issues that must be concurrently addressed with the buildup.
Finally the resolution asserts additional findings on actionable items relative to what the legislature calls a flawed FEIS.
