Guam – Guam lawmakers passed 4 new laws during a brief legislative session Monday afternoon.
The bills they approved are:
* Bill 407 which would create a Guam Medal of Honor to commemorate those killed in action.
*Bill 383 which would regulate legislative lobbyists.
*Bill 414 which requires Guam to begin using ultra-low sulfur diesel.
*Bill 386 which establishes the autonomy of the Guam Memorial Hospital Authority.
Senators also overrode the Governor’s veto of Bill 359 which prohibits the transfer of all prehistoric and historic properties, and antiquities without the consent of the legislature.
Session resumes Tuesday afternoon at 2pm.
