While the vast majority of island residents enjoyed themselves at Sunday’s Liberation Day Parade, it wasn’t all fun and games for the Guam Police Department who had their hands full.

A barefoot woman carrying a knife behind the U.S. District Court was captured on video trying to cause trouble with people.

The woman, armed with what appears to be a kitchen knife, can be seen following two male individuals. From a distance, the woman can be seen behind several vehicles making her way towards the same direction as the men and a group of parade-goers.

The woman then began to run, knife in hand, as audio can be heard urging everyone to get inside.

The knife-wielding woman then came to a stop and at one point could be heard saying “help me.”

Knife still in her hands, witnesses tried to calm the woman down as she placed the knife on the concrete ledge.

Shortly after, the police arrived and took the woman into custody while she continued to yell.

The incident took place behind the District Court of Guam. According to arrest records, a woman identified as Dina Marie Bascon was arrested Sunday on offenses of aggravated assault, family violence, criminal mischief, and use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony. She was booked and confined.
