Guam – Republican Mike Limtiaco today [Friday] has officially filed the required documents for his campaign to run for the Guam Legislature.
His campaign issued the following release:
Limtiaco officially files candidacy for Senator; Local businessman says campaign ‘toughest challenge,’ happy to step up
Hagatna, Guam. June 29, 2012 – We’ve seen his face on his numerous billboards strategically placed around the island for several weeks now. Michael Limtiaco, Vice-President of Pacific Unlimited, Inc. formalized his bid for a seat in the 32nd Guam Legislature by filing his candidacy yesterday with the Guam Election Commission. He was accompanied by his wife Tricee Perez Limtiaco.
“I am excited to lead, to make a difference on this island by becoming a part of one of the most important entities in our government. I have made those intentions official. We have serious challenges on our island; I want the people to know that I take this responsibility seriously. I intend to focus on ways to grow our economy while reducing government spending to ensure a bright future of generations to come. Today is a good day.” Limtiaco explained passionately.
