Guam – Federal and local authorities were busy today as enforcement operations were carried out in two locations on the island.

Authorities stormed into a home in Agat early this morning. While authorities could not provide much information regarding the operation, local and federal authorities worked together in conducting the operation.

FBI Spokeswoman Michele Ernst said, “The FBI along with United States Postal Inspection Service, Homeland Security Investigations, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Drug Enforcement Administration, Coast Guard Investigative Service, and the Guam Police Department conducted a search warrant.”

“Due to the nature of an ongoing investigation, we are unable to provide any further comment,” Ernst said.

Meanwhile DEA’s Resident Agent in Charge, Edward Talbot deferred comment to questions regarding the Agat raid to the FBI. However, he did confirm that DEA enforcement operations were conducted in Barrigada, and he cannot comment further as it is an ongoing investigation. At this time it is unknown if any arrests were made in either operation.
