Guam- Louis Vuitton Guam is teaming up with the Guam Council on the Arts and Humanities Agency or CAHA for a big charity event.
General Manager Edouard Faure says they are hosting an underwater exhibition, featuring 20 photos taken in the waters of the Marianas, at the Tumon Sands Plaza to help preserve the Chamorro culture. All proceeds will go towards the CAHA Master Apprenticeship Program. Faure also mentions the event is a way to pay tribute to the Guam community after being here for 30 years. He feels the company shares the same values as the island and hopes the photos will raise enough money for CAHA’s program.
“What is important with these pictures is that they are not pictures of underseas” said Faure. “They are also artistic pictures by themselves. It can be sort of an abstract design. That’s actually part of the interest in this exhibition.”
The exhibition launches tonight at the Tumon Sands Plaza around 6:30 pm and will run through the end of September.
