VIDEO: Lt. Governor, I-Connect, & Resorts World Manila Team Up To Beatify Guam


Guam – The Lt. Governor’s office is teaming up with the private sector to help to beautify the island of Guam.

The local wireless telecommunications company I-connnect and Resorts World Manila are teaming up with Lt. Governor Ray Tenorio’s island wide beautification task force.

Together they will hold a contest that asks people to come up with an artistic design that describes what their idea of fun on Guam is. There will be two age groups the 8-17 year old category and the 18 and older category.

The winners artwork will be used to decorate bus stops and retaining walls.

“And there’s tons of things we all do family and friend activities there may be a club that you belong too or an association a canoeing association a martial arts club but whatever it is we want you to represent that in a piece of art work and develop it and submit it,” said I-Connect Chief Business Development Officer Matt Geiger.

The 8-17 year old division winners will get a Samsung Galaxy Tab from I-Connect and the adult division winners will get an all expense paid trip for 2 to Manila with 3 days and 2 nights stay at Resorts World Manila. Entries are due by August 15.
