MAGPRO 5k/2k is this Saturday

The MAGPRO 5k/2k run-walk happens this Saturday morning and it is Halloween themed.

MAGPRO is a GovGuam recognition program that Governor Eddie Calvo established three years ago to recognize hardworking GovGuam employees. This Saturday’s MAGPRO 5k will be a Halloween costume contest with over 500 dollars-worth in cash prizes as well as over 100 raffle prizes.

“In addition to the Halloween costume contest there is the contest on who can bring out the most employees. So, you wanna do that as a team and we will also be offering health screenings for blood pressure body mass index so we want to invite you to come out,” said Public Health program coordinator Patrick Luces.

“We just encourage everyone to please join us for the MAGPRO 5k and 2k. Definitely a great time to support your loved ones who are hardworking employees of the government of Guam and a great time for you to work out and have fun so please join us,” said the Governor’s Deputy Director of Communications Amanda Blas.

This Saturday’s MAGPRO 5k is part of a lead-up to the MAGPRO award ceremony in December.
