Make-A-Wish Foundation Guam Fulfills Wishes of Two Children

Make-A-Wish Foundation Guam made today extra special for a couple of children. This afternoon, the foundation granted 7-year old Taylor Cruz’s wish to go to Disney World Resorts in Orlando!

Taylor, who has been battling cancer since she was only two years old, is more than excited for her upcoming family trip! She tells us the first thing she’s going to do when she gets to Disney World is to hop on the hot air balloon! Taylor and her family will be leaving this Sunday to Florida.

Her mother Jennifer Cruz says  this trip means the world to Taylor, who endured four months of chemotherapy and has been back and forth at clinics for check ups and follow ups for the past four and a half years. Jennifer also tells us good news about Taylor’s condition.

Cruz says, “The doctor at her last visit in March told us she has one more visit in March and she’s done. We’re happy about that and we’re looking forward to going on family trips without seeing a doctor so we’re happy about that. Taylor loves to dance, she’s shy, but loves to dance…She loves life.”

Make-A-Wish Guam also gave 12-year old Miguel Rosario a weekend getaway at the PIC Resort.
Guam’s Make-A-Wish chapter is on their 27th year of granting wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions and continuing to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. As of February of last year, Guam’s chapter has granted 237 wishes to eligible children.
