A man has been arrested in connection with a robbery call at the Tamuning Plaza Hotel.
Police say on Tuesday, officers assigned to the Tumon-Tamuning Precinct Command responded to the hotel. Their preliminary report suggests that the victim was approached by a man armed with a knife who demanded money.
The suspect is said to have fled on foot with an unknown amount of cash.
Police were able to find the accused in the parking lot of the same hotel; he was later identified as 39-year-old Spencer Levar Ross.
Ross was taken to the Tumon-Tamuning Precinct Command, where he was arrested for the following offenses:
- 2nd Degree Robbery; and,
- Use of a Deadly Weapon in the Commission of a Felony
He’s been booked and confined at the Department of Corrections and the case is now with the Attorney General’s office for prosecution.
