A 24-year-old man gets arrested for stealing tip jars from a fast food restaurant at Mongmong-Toto-Maite.
Jose Lujan Benavente was arrested after being detained by three customers who allegedly saw him stealing tip jars from KFC’s drive through.
According to a magistrate’s complaint filed in the Superior Court of Guam, the owners told police officers that Benavente had stolen two tip jars with approximately $100 inside and attempted to flee.
Benavente was charged of theft of property as a misdemeanor.
