Man Arrested for Firing Gun Over Barking Dog


Joaquin Quichocho allegedly fired his gun into the air to scare his neighbor.

Guam – Guam police arrested a 45-year-old man for shooting his gun into the air over a barking dog.


According to a magistrate’s complaint, Joaquin Tenorio Quichocho fired a gun into the air after he had gotten into an argument with his neighbor over a barking dog.

Police say Quichocho grabbed his neighbor’s dog by the leash and hung him in the air because the dog was irritating him.

The neighbor tried to stop Quichocho and the two fought, but police say Quichocho went into his apartment, grabbed his gun, came back outside and fired a shot into the air to scare his neighbor.

Police say Quichocho then threw a chair at his neighbor which caused two lacerations to the neighbor’s head. Quichocho was charged with aggravated assault, unlawful discharge of a firearm and disorderly conduct.
