Man Arrested for Multiple Charges Witnessed by Landlord

Jason Mercado Valencia was charged with terrorizing as a first-degree felony, criminal mischief as a misdemeanor, and family violence as a misdemeanor.

According to an official magistrate’s report, on October 17, 2022, Valencia harassed his wife and proceeded to break a window at the residence in Yigo. A witness, the landlord, came out of a nearby apartment as Valencia threatened to say that he was going to kill everyone before he left the premises. On the same day, Valencia also attempted to cause harm to his wife. Valencia was found shortly after with a cut on his left hand. According to the report, he does not live in the residence.
