Man arrested for shooting incident in Agat

On Tuesday, February 16, 2021, officers assigned to the GPD’S Southern Precinct Command responded to a shooting incident that occurred on San Francisco Street in Agat.

As a result of the incident a, 34-year-old man was transported to Naval Hospital Guam for treatment and care. This case was assumed by GPD’S Criminal Investigation.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives learned the identity of two (2) male suspects responsible for the shooting and issued an All Points Bulletin.

On Wednesday, February 17, 2021, one of the male suspects, later identified as 36-year-old Anthony Vincent Ignacio, had self-surrendered to police authorities. Anthony Vincent Ignacio was later arrested for the following offenses:

= Conspiracy to Commit Murder
= Aggravated Assault
= Guilt Established by Complicity and
= Criminal Facilitation

Anthony Vincent Ignacio was subsequently booked and confined. This case is ongoing as police officials continue to search for the second suspect on this case.
