Man arrested for Swamp Road murder

As reported, on Thursday, April 15, 2021, the Guam Police Department launched a death investigation relative to the discovery of a lifeless man on the shoulder roadway of Swamp Road in Dededo.

The man was later identified as, 25-year-old Joshua James Meno.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives conducted interviews and learned of the events that transpired.

A 36-year-old Matthew San Agustin Manibusan, was identified as a person of interest
regarding this case investigation.

Manibusan was transported to GPD Headquarters in Tiyan for an interview. He was later arrested for the following offenses:

-Aggravated Assault
-Use of a Deadly Weapon in Commission of Felony
-Unlawful Discharge of Firearm
-Possession of a Firearm without Valid Identification
-Unsworn Falsification and
-Reckless Conduct

Detectives were able to locate and confiscated a gun that was possibly used in this incident.

Matthew San Agustin Manibusan was subsequently booked and confined at the Department of Corrections. This case has been forwarded to the Office of the Attorney General for prosecution.
