Man arrested for threatening to kill ex-girlfriend

New Years Eve was a scary night for one woman, as her ex-boyfriend allegedly threatens to kill her – “because it’s a new year.”

30-year-old Wayner George was charged with terrorizing as a 3rd-degree felony with a special allegation of a deadly weapon used in a felony, family violence, and strangulation– both as 3rd-degree felonies.

According to a magistrates report, on New Year’s Eve, the Guam Police Department responded to a disturbance in Yigo. the female victim explain that her ex-boyfriend came to her home and asked for his shirt. She said that she did not have his shirt and became angry.

The victim told police that George allegedly said, “It’s a new year. I’m gonna kill you if I find out you’re giving away my shirts.” When he was interviewed by police, he told them he remembers holding the victim on the ground with his feet.

On two other occasions, on April 20, 2022, George also allegedly threatened the same victim telling her to get out of the car or he will kill her.

According to the report, on July 19, 2022, George held the victim down and covered her nose and mouth threatening her to shut up or he would kill her as he held a knife in his hand. The victim told police that she could not breathe and blacked out. Upon doing an injury check, police did not find any visible injuries.
