Guam – A man has been arrested for a home invasion in Yona. The man who was arrested actually contacted GPD and told them he was responsible for the home invasion.

“On Monday March 28, officers from the Hagatna Precinct Command entertained a “Home Invasion” that occurred at 183 Balajadia Road, Yona .
The police reports indicated that aroundnight, a family member from the home was getting ready for bed and upon entering her room, she noticed a male individual trying to hide behind a pillow within the bedroom, in which she began screaming. The male individual was seen running out the front door by other family members, as the suspect continued to run into the jungle line surrounding the home. Upon arrival of the responding officers, the family members were able to identify the male suspect due to family members having knowledge of the suspect.
On Tuesday, March 29 at around, the Hagatna Precinct received a call from a male individual indicating that he was the responsible for the burglary at Yona. Officers then responded to Buenas Mart in Yona, and met with the individual who identified himself as the responsible. Officers then detained the male suspect, in which family members from the home where the incident occurred arrived and identified the male suspect. Officers then arrested:

for the following offense:
