Guam – An investigation into a robbery on Vivian Street in Jonestown, Tamuning led authorities to a home they had encountered the suspect prior to the robbery.
“Responding officers met with the victim who indicated that while waking on Vivian Way in Jonestown, he was approached by an unknown man who was holding a knife. The unknown man then punched the victim on the face, causing the victim to drop his cell phone, which the male subject picked up and walked away, Guam Police Department Spokesman Sgt. Paul Tapao continued, as the information of the suspect was being aired, additional officers responding to scene, recalled a male individual fitting the description due to an earlier call on Vivian Way.”
When authorities arrived at the home they questioned Antanaciao Sablan Cepeda who is identified as the suspect, police say that he became combative and began attacking two uniformed officers.
After detaining Cepeda, the victim in the robbery was brought to the location and positively identified him as the individual who attacked him and stole his phone.
