Man arrested in Hagatna stabbing

Guam – Guam Police are investigating a stabbing incident Tuesday night in Hagatna.

GPD Spokesman Sgt. Paul Tapao says a disturbance was reported at Pedro’s Plaza building in Hagatna around 9:21 p.m. between two men.

Tapao says the assailand has been identified as Tongei Paul, 21, who allegedly stabbed the victim with a pocket knife that caused a three-inch laceration.

The 38-year-old victim was treated at the scene and refused medical transport.

Paul was charged with aggravated assault and public drunkenness and was booked and confined.
