Man charged with trying to run over victims in road rage incident

Guam – What started out as a road rage incident resulted in the arrest of a suspect who police say tried to run over two men at the King’s Tamuning parking lot.

Guam Police Department Spokesperson Capt. Kim Santos says it began Friday evening as a road rage incident at the parking lot of Cowboy Ninja. Later in the evening, as two men exited their vehicle to enter King’s Restaurant in Tamuning, police say the suspect, identified as Gavin R. Chargualaf, 21, sped out of a parking stall and struck both men with his Kia Forte then fled the scene.

Santos says police eventually located Chargualaf a few hours after the hit-and-run. Chargualaf was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with personal and property damage. He was booked and released

Santos says the victims sustained minor injuries.
