Man in Anigua Crash Identified; Suffered Heart Attack


The man was identified as Rogelio Maravilla.

Guam – The man who died Monday morning after crashing into a power pole has been identified as 75-year-old Rogelio Maravillas.


Medical Examiner Dr. Aurelio Espinola says Maravillas suffered a heart attack as he was driving. He says Maravillas died of natural causes.

Guam Police Spokesperson Capt. Kim Santos says the man was traveling eastbound on Route 1 in Anigua when the vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a power pole.

The victim was initially transported to Naval Hospital but was later transferred to Guam Memorial Hospital.
