Man in Critical Condition, Stabbed for “Rapping” a Song

Kyle Yurko, 34, was arrested for allegedly stabbing the victim.

Guam – A man who was stabbed because he was “rapping a song” that seemed offensive is in critical condition at the Guam Memorial Hospital.

Guam Police Spokesman Officer AJ Balajadia reports that the unidentified 21-year-old man was taken to GMH last night after a witness says he had gotten into an altercation with the alleged suspect, Kyle Yurko.

Balajadia says the two men were at Matapang Beach drinking late last night when Yurko, 34, attacked the victim because the rap song was offensive to him.

Witnesses at the scene told police that both men were punching each other but it was the victim who appeared to be bleeding from the stomach. He was taken to GMH and is listed in critical condition.
