The grand jury returned a True Bill for Forgery as a Third Degree Felony, Tampering with
Public Records as a Third Degree Felony, two counts of Unsworn Falsification of Record as
a Misdemeanor, and one charge of Unsworn Falsification of Record as a Misdemeanor.

A grand jury is made up of 16-23 members of the community who hear evidence and decide whether there is reasonable cause to believe that an accused has committed a crime. At least 12 grand jury members must agree that reasonable cause exists in order to return a True Bill.

The defendant will enter a formal plea of ‘guilty’ or ‘not guilty’ at his arraignment hearing
which is expected to take place in the next couple weeks.
