A car chase through the northern villages ended in Maite this morning and this isn’t the first run-in with the law the man behind the wheel has had with police.

Sterling Crisostomo was identified as the man who led police on a car chase which started out in Dededo.

Crisostomo led police to Yigo before he turned around and headed south towards Barrigada.

It wasn’t until Crisistomo reached Maite that police were able to apprehend him at the intersection of Airport Road and Cars Plus.

The arrest was captured on video as passing motorists slowed down to see what was going on.

A source with GPD confirms that Crisostomo was taken into custody on offenses not limited to reckless driving and eluding police.

While a video depicts a woman being led away from a vehicle in handcuffs, her arrest has not been confirmed. Meanwhile

Crisostomo, according to DOC records, has criminal cases dating back to 2014.

Prior charges against him included home invasion, harassment, resisting arrest and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon to name a few. He was just released from jail 10 days ago for a separate case.
