Sean Anthony Lizama was caught trying to smuggle ice through postal mail. The methamphetamine was tested and yielded a result of 100 percent purity.
Guam – His name may not be Heisenberg, but the methamphetamine or “ice” Sean Anthony Lizama tried to smuggle into Guam was on the same level—100 percent purity.
Sean Anthony Lizama, 38, was sentenced yesterday to eight years in prison for attempting to receive over 200 grams of ice that had a purity level of 100 percent.// Lizama was caught back in October 2013 along with three other people who picked up postal mail that contained the ice.
Before the suspects picked up the mail, postal inspectors placed a tracking device in the package.
According to court papers, Lizama agreed to pick up the package for another individual in exchange for two ounces or about 56 grams of ice, but for a third of its street value. Lizama admitted that he intended to sell and distribute the ice.
Altogether, the 214 grams of ice that was smuggled into Guam through postal mail had a street value of about $170,000.
