Mark Torre Jr. has been found not guilty of the charges filed against him in connection with the shooting death of his fellow GPD officer Sgt. Elbert Piolo.

He was found not guilty of negligent homicide and the lesser charge of assault.

This means that after five years of trials, Mark Torre Jr. is now a free man and he is now going to be putting this behind him.

On the other hand, the family of Elbert Piolo will have to live with this verdict for the rest of their lives.

Jerelyn Piolo, the mother of Elbert Piolo, was understandably upset after the verdict was released.

“My God, what kind of justice is this?” she said.
