Guam – A suspicious individual wearing a gas mask, with his three friends in tow, inside a Tamuning game room drew police attention. Subsequent inspections found them in possession of controlled subscription drugs.

The masked man Juan Tomas Balanon and his friends Allen James Roberto, Brandon Rufus Chandler and Daniel Suk Degracia, showed behaviors that warranted a pat down, police said.

Court documents said Roberto “continuously concealed his hands in his pockets, even after police asked Roberto to take his hands out of his pockets.”

Officers also observed that Chandler had a black metal baton sticking out of his pocket.

Officers said Roberto was found in possession of a plastic straw containing a white powdery substance and a black case containing 16 green pills.

Roberto told police that he received them from Balanon. Police identified the pills as Xanax, a schedule 4 controlled substance.

On Chandler, police discovered an orange medication bottle also containing Xanax, Chandler admitted that the prescription was not his but instead “Jeremy Arbes”

In Degracia’s pocket police found a plastic straw with a white powdery substance containing Xanax.  Balanon was found in possession of a multitool and black pouch containing an ice pipe.

Police say that Balanon admitted to smoking methamphetamine from the glass pipe. Roberto, Chandler and Degracia were charged with  possession of a scheduled four controlled substance while Balanon was charged with possession of a scheduled two controlled substance.
