OUTDOOR EXPOSITION of the Blessed Sacrament in honor of Child Abuse Protection Awareness Month started Monday April 5 in the Octave of Easter thru Friday April 30 in the tented patio area of the OLBS church.

 

The Daily APRIL 2021 Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament Schedule will be as follows [regardless of holidays and long weekends]:

Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays2:30 PM – 5:45 PM.

Saturdays: 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM, (due to the scheduled Vigil Mass for Sunday).

PCOR-3 Protocols are still in effect even in the church patio. Please abide by them.

On Sunday, May 2, 2021, there will be a limited Motorcade of the Statue of St. Joseph

around the village.

 

3) In line with our 340th Jubilee Celebration, the Holy See has granted us the Full Plenary

Indulgence.  This will take effect from May 1st to December 8 of this year, 2021.

Hence, we invite and encourage the entire Faithful on the island to avail this once-in-a-lifetime Blessing and Grace.

In order to avail for the Full Plenary Indulgence, the following requirements need to be met:

  1. make a pilgrimage visit to the church of St. Joseph, Inalahan.
  2. go to Confession
  3. attend mass and receive Communion
  4. pray for the intentions of the Holy Father

 

Furthermore, the elderly, the sick and those who cannot leave their home may also obtain the Full Plenary Indulgence. They must show sorrow for their sins and observe the three usual conditions, even as they spiritually unite themselves with the Jubilee celebrations and offer to God their own trials and sufferings.

 

4) In order to encourage our parishioners to avail the Full Plenary Indulgence, Confession will be made available 30 minutes before Mass or by appointment.

 

Important Note:  Due to the breakdown of the air-conditioned units of the church, (with permission from Archbishop Byrnes) Vigil and Sunday Masses held temporarily at parish social hall since April 10, 2021.
