JCA Guam LLC, which does business as McDonald’s of Guam & Saipan, will hold its grand reopening this Saturday for its Harmon location, after going under renovations several months ago.

At a recent VIP Night, Jose Ayuyu, the owner and president of McDonald’s of Guam & Saipan, shared with the Pacific News Center his excitement of reopening the Harmon location.

“I am very happy not just for myself but I am really happy for the community because it deserves this type of facility for a long time,” said Ayuyu. “I am just happy that starting today the community in the area will go into the restaurant and see something new on the island. So, we’re very excited with these new facilities because it costs a lot of money but I think it is worth the investment. Our community deserves it. I am just so happy to be able to deliver to them.”

Renovations started in December 2022 and wrapped up in late April 2023.

The indoor seating and tables were designed by JBI Interiors with Nakoa Guam, which was the project contractor.

Upgrades are: renovated dining room and restrooms, more than 100 indoor seatings for both 1st and 2nd floor, double drive thru side by side with outdoor digital menu boards, indoor digital menu boards, self order kiosks, renovated kitchen, and “Play Time” Play Place located on the 2nd floor, activities for children to enjoy.

Ribbon cutting, celebration cake, food sampling, balloon animals, face painting, and games are some of the activities people can expect at the grand reopening, which is scheduled from 3 to 5 pm on May 13 at McDonald’s in Harmon.
