Medical Examiner: Infant’s Death Was “Accidental”

Guam -The death of a one-month old baby in Dededo this week has been determined to be “accidental” by the Medical Examiner’s Office.

Cheif Medical Examiner Dr. Aurelio Espinola told PNC News today that an autopsy revealed the infant died from chest and head compression. Dr. Espinola said he believes the baby’s father accidentally rolled over the infant in bed while sleeping.

The Medical Examiner’s Office will be forwarding the information from the autopsy to the Guam Police Department.  GPD Tuesday sent out a Press Release that said the baby’s death was under investigation.
