Guam – Melanie Moore of Marietta Georgia has won the 8th “So You Think You Can Dance” competition. Moore won 47% of the vote over Sasha Mallory, the runner up who got 32%. Guam’s favorite son, MARKO Germar placed 3rd with about 21% of the vote. Tadd Gadduang finished close behind him.

The results were announced to a nationwide audience Thursday night on the mainland [this morning Guam time].
More than 11 million votes were cast.
