Guam – To kick off the summer, the 31st Guam Micronesian Island Fair will start tonight at 6 pm at the Plaza de España in Hagåtña.
As part of this year’s theme, “Celebrating Peace and Friendship in the Pacific,” the Guam Visitors Bureau will welcome delegates and artisans hailing from Rota, the Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau.
And its officially day 1! GVB will kick off the GMIF with an opening ceremony tonight at 6 p.m. at the main stage and for the cultural performances, exhibits, and family-friendly activities scheduled each day through Sunday.
The event will carry on through June 1, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and then on June 2, the GMIF will wrap up festivities with a closing act at 4:30 p.m. followed by event closure at 6 p.m.
