Guam – Shell, Mobil and 76 have now all raised gasoline prices by another 10-cents. A gallon of regular unleaded is now $3.90 cents a gallon [$3.89.9].
76 and Mobil jacked up prices yesterday [Wednesday]. Shell followed suit, as expected, overnight.
It was less than a month ago, on November 10th, that the island’s fuel suppliers last raised their prices. That price increase was also 10 cents.
The 3 major fuel suppliers typically raise or lower prices in lock-step with each other, and they never announce price changes ahead of time or explain after a price rise.
Crude oil prices in Singapore where Guam buys its fuel recently spiked above $90 dollars a barrel, however prices today [Wednesday] fell back to the $88 dollar a barrel range.
