Mobil Oil Guam Inc. has confirmed that a service station agent employee at the Mobil Agat service station tested positive for COVID-19 on August 28.
All affected service station personnel and other personnel who had direct contact with the affected person have already been isolated and placed on home quarantine.
The station has also undergone a deep clean and is safely opened.
“We would like to assure our customers that we have in place a pandemic readiness action plan with precautionary measures to protect the health of our employees and customers. We continue to work closely with the local health authorities. Our focus is on ensuring the safety and health of all service station personnel and customers, and to do our part to limit the spread of COVID-19 in the community. We wish the service station employee a quick and full recovery,” the company said in a news release.
Mobil stations continue to operate during these challenging times to continue providing essential fuel supplies to the community with safety as the prime consideration.
