The Guam Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in finding a missing man
27-year-.old Michael Jose Castro was last seen Thursday, October 29, 2020.
When his mother, Melanie Guerrero, hadn’t heard from her son in the days leading up to his birthday, November 3rd, that’s when she knew something was wrong.
She asked close friends and an ex-girlfriend of Michael about his whereabouts. But they said they didn’t know where he was.
Guerrero then went to GPD and filed a missing person report on Sunday, November 8.
Guerrero describes her son as pretty outgoing, extremely generous, loving, and “cares about everything that he does and the people in his life.”
She added that Castro is passionate about always helping friends and family and being there for them.
Guerrero spoke with PNC and recalls what happened the last time she saw her son.
“Actually, He was with us most of that day on the 29th. He came over. We were doing several things during the week together at home so he was here a lot that week. It was pretty normal, he came over, he talked to my husband, talked to his daughter, talked to me. We were actually on the phone that morning before he arrived here and even days before that, like really serious conversations about things,” she said.
