Motorcycle crash by East Hagatna Mobil; ‘unresponsive’ male rushed to GMH

Guam Fire Department units were on the scene of a motorcycle spill with serious injuries on Route 1/ East Hagatna Mobil. The incident happened around 1p.m. Thursday.

According to GFD spokesperson Kevin Reilly, one unconscious and unresponsive male patient was taken to GMH by Medic 1 and ALS personnel. Guam Police issued a release saying that the female passenger was also taken to GMH; her condition was not disclosed.

Both northbound lanes were closed and snarled traffic for hours as emergency crews investigated and cleared the scene. GPD reopened roads around 3:30p.m.

There’s no status update on the male and female victims as of Friday morning.
